Reduced caffeine but drank a bit more later. At least I'm able to have less in the morning. This was offset by having like 3 cokes
I controlled my eating today. At a pretty strict 9000kJ. A step in the right direction.
15 minute meditation in the morning! This made a world of difference to how I approached my work in the morning and "set me on the right course". I didn't "spiral" at work and was actually able to get some stuff done despite reduced caffeine.
Just remembered. All my friends yesterday were saying that I had ADD because I kept fiddling with everything on the table. I'm not sure how true this is but it just feels way to convenient of an excuse. I know I've struggled with this before by looking for an easy way out. The truth is that these drugs are really dangerous. Chances are if you are struggling with attention you're probably doing the wrong thing. That being said if I were to be a kid in this modern environment I would have 100% been weeded out as having ADHD or whatever and that would have changed the course of my life for the worse most likely.
The way people describe those drugs is that they make your dopamine feel fucked up the day after. Remember that there is no magic panacea. You have to take the good with the bad.
Approach work in a not-hopless manner because of meditation.
Listen to the Elon and Joe Rogan podcast interview. Mostly a bunch of rubbish and not worth listening to. More woke mob stuff. While I do believe in social contagions and have a lot of friends that are over imposing on moral issues these are usually quite pretty easy to solve. Once you give them the moral high ground of "oh yeah you're so right" they usually collapse under their idea of what they wanted (dominance over people) because they realise that a win in this manner didn't make them happy
